About Us
ProDPO™ has provided data protection advisory services to organisations since 2018 when it was established by the law firm Wedlake Bell LLP. We assist with comprehensive day-to-day DPO services, on-demand or ad-hoc support, as well as transactional support.

Partner
Adam is a Partner who specialises in non-contentious commercial, IP, IT and data protection matters.
Adam advises on general commercial law & contracts; the protection & exploitation of IP rights; software (including app) development, integration, licensing and support & maintenance; technology & business-process outsourcing; online-business; consumer law; and data protection & security.
Adam advises a broad range of clients of varying shapes and sizes including those operating in the tech; hotel & restaurant; drinks (spirits & beers); retail; sports; design; financial services; property & construction; and healthcare industries (amongst others). He enjoys advising start-up, early-stage and fast-growing businesses.
Adam has experience advising on complex technology outsourcing projects (system development, testing, integration, support & maintenance and business continuity) including for clients in regulated industries.
He has spent time on secondment to the Intellectual Property and Commercial team of a global events and publishing business and a premium drinks business.

Esther has over 25 years’ experience in IP and commercial matters. She specialises in all aspects of IP, with emphasis on global brand protection, exploitation and technology transfers, as well broad based commercial IP issues. She also advises on IT contracts and e-commerce including software development and licensing deals in fintech and other sectors. Esther’s work also includes data protection compliance advice and documentation for UK and global organisations.
Her sector focus is broad but has been predominantly in technology and engineering and often with an international flavour, which reflects her academic and personal background.

Choy is a Senior Associate who advises clients on general data protection issues with a particular focus on employment/HR issues. She regularly advises on data subject access requests, privacy notices, data breaches, and data protection policies. Her clients cover a range of sectors including Legal Services, TMT, Health Services, Marketing, Manufacturing, Recruitment and Hospitality.
She is valued by her clients for being a strategic thinker and creative problem solver, with the ability to distil complex legal concepts into plain English and offer clear achievable strategies.

Elizabeth is a Senior Associate who advises clients on a broad range of data protection issues and regularly advises on complicated data protection matters. Elizabeth regularly advises on data protection impact assessments (DPIAs), data sharing arrangements and the impact of data protection law in complex areas such as direct marketing and the use of website cookies, and employee vetting. Elizabeth has written a number of White Papers including advising a client on the data protection implications of a digital migration of an application system, and advising clients on their roles as a controller or processor in the context of providing statutory services to local authorities, and conducting detailed background checks.

She has worked with a variety of clients including the technology, education and creative sectors. She also supports clients with advice on intellectual property and commercial matters.
